I bred Chins for years. Two chins of good color and quality usually went for around $300 a pair. More though if you bought from a pet store which is a REALLY bad idea.

We spay and neuter animals of all ages. Younger animals recover faster and some types of cancers are entirely prevented by spaying before the first heat cycle. Cats and dogs must be at least 8 weeks old, 12 weeks if you want them to get a rabies vaccination. Animals 8 years or older will require additional precautions that will add a small additional charge.



We can also spay females in heat or pregnant females.



Appointments are available every Monday through Thursday and the first and third Saturday of the month. We have added Saturday the 12th because the other two dates ate fully booked. Drop off time is 7-8 AM, pick up is 5-6 PM – no walk-ins or early pick ups, please. Dogs or groups of animals can usually get appointments within 2 weeks, cats can usually get in within a week.

This is exclusively a spay and neuter clinic; we are not a full service veterinary hospital. Our clinic is only intended to provide a low cost, safe sterilization surgery for animals that are healthy with normal anatomy and with no known pre-existing conditions that could cause surgical complications. Any special pre or post-surgical care will be your responsibility with your own vet clinic. We use dissolving sutures, so you won’t need to bring your animal back to have them removed. We use a high quality and long lasting pain medication that keeps the vast majority of animals comfortable during their recovery. Take home pain medication is available at an additional cost. We do as many as 35 surgeries per vet per surgery day. Surgery is performed by an on-staff licensed veterinarian. We do not offer appointments for vaccines only, those services are only offered for animals admitted to the surgery clinic.



We never skimp on the needs of our patients. Our protocols are up-to-date and sometimes more advanced than those of other vet clinics. We spend our time taking care of your animal, so we’ll only call you after surgery if we have questions or concerns.



We are located near Dean Health Care clinic on Buckeye Rd just off of Stoughton Rd in Madison at 1602 Blossom Lane. Coming from Stoughton Rd after turning onto Buckeye towards the PDQ gas station you will make an immediate left turn onto Blossom lane before you pass the PDQ station while on Buckeye; we are the last place at the end of the street on the left.

We believe that she may be part irish setter and part airedale. She loves attention, but we work long shifts and there are no other dogs around here that she likes to play with. This makes her very hyper and at the end of a long day, we do not the appropriate time to help her with getting her energy out. She does get along with cats, as we have four ourselves.
