Whether you are interested in volunteering as hospice patient companions, office volunteers or working with grieving families the information and training is all the same. We like to know our volunteers, whether in the office or out in the field, are prepared for the situations that arise when working in a hospice setting.
Training is mandatory, but not too bad! It lasts 5 weeks, one day per week. After that, we are confident you will be prepared to help both us and our patients.
Clerical training is only 3 weeks, one day per week.
The next training session is on the following dates:
Mondays from Nov. 16th – Dec. 14th at the Oshkosh Senior Center
(All dates training is from 1:00pm – 4:00pm)
If you are interested and unable to attend, please contact us and we will let you know of other options in getting trained to be a part of the program!
