Amazing on carpet. My black rug is like trying to keep a black vehicle clean. It looks clean for 15 minutes and then shows every pet hair and every speck of debris. This Miele not only cleans it great but does it smoothly.
I have/had other vacuums that clean this rug well, but I can't vacuum it in certain directions (against the grain) because the brush roller set low digs into the rug and makes the vacuum hard to push. And various vacuums with auto brush roller height adjust don't clean deep enough. This Miele has auto height and cleans deep yet also rolls smoothly. The best I've ever used.
I don't need something this fancy for just one rug though, so, selling it.
It's missing the extension wand. That's why the hose with the handle looks a bit funny sticking out the side. There's supposed to be an extension wand in that location. It works fine, just no extension wand. It does have the shorter wand you can see attached to the back. Wand replacements are available on amazon and ebay.
Has a minor scuff here and there. See pictures.
And... that's all. Great vacuum. $175 firm.
I can put a 5-feet section of carpet right inside the garage door if you want to test it there. I can also deliver it locally.
