So you think you might like a place on a lake up north? It usually is an expensive undertaking. So how about renting a place for a while to experience it first? One hour from Green Bay. The owners live next door and this is not a busy, noisy resort setting!

This Lake Noquebay property available is a completely remodeled two-bedroom, one-bath home with a stunning sunset view from your deck. Air Conditioning and heat. Wireless internet and Direct TV. New tankless on demand water heater. The large tree-lined lot offers seclusion and shade with a large yard, fire pit, dock and 150 feet of lake frontage. Firewood is provided and there is a Weber charcoal grill too. Your own dock with a 2500 lbs capacity boat lift. There is a nice boat launch at the county park.

Lake Noquebay is approximately 2,410 acres. Lake Noquebay is popular year-round with boating, fishing, waterskiing, snowmobiling and ice fishing. Fish species are bluegill, crappie, bass, walleye, northern pike, trout, rock bass, perch and muskie. The Crivitz Ski Cats waterski team performs at the nearby county park on most Wednesday and Saturday evenings, in the summer. The park has a nice beach and playground area.

The Village of Crivitz is seven minutes away and home to gift shops, restaurants, grocery and convenience stores. Crivitz has a Flea Market on Thursdays in the summer and a Farmer’s Market on Saturday mornings from July through October featuring fresh locally grown produce and handmade items. The Village’s markets, holiday parades and gift shops are a great opportunity to discover the charm and hospitality that define the community.

Crivitz and the surrounding area are home to trails, hunting, fishing, waterskiing, golfing, rafting, parks, waterfalls, snowshoeing and snowmobiling. Marinette County has miles of UTV, ATV and snowmobile trails. All the county roads, most town and village roads are open to UTV's & ATV's finally. For those seeking a non-motorized thrills, just east of Lake Noquebay, there are over three miles of intermediate level single track mountain biking, hiking and snowshoeing trails. Marinette County also has a range of golf courses to challenge all skill levels. These courses vary in design and difficulty, offering from 9 to 27 holes in a beautiful Northwoods setting.

Marinette County has white water rafting on the Menominee and Peshtigo Rivers. The Roaring Rapids section of the Peshtigo offers one of the longest continuous stretches of whitewater rapids in the region. Marinette County, the waterfall capital of Wisconsin, offers thirteen picturesque, scenic and breathtaking waterfalls. Bring a picnic lunch along and make a day of touring them all.

Marinette County offers nearly 50 miles of Rustic Roads which are exceptionally beautiful to view in the fall when the trees turn gorgeous shades of red, yellow and orange. The Tommy G. Thompson Centennial State Park is located 15 miles northwest of Crivitz and encompasses the southern shore of Caldron Falls Flowage, and the Peshtigo River State Forest covers about 9,000 acres around Caldron and High Falls Flowage. Marinette County maintains 19 parks, most offering picnic tables, playgrounds, swimming, fishing and hiking.

We have regulars that have been staying with us for over 20 years. Available by the week or for an extended period of time starting mid August. This is a house keeping cabin which means you bring your bed linens, towels and food, everything else is provided.

Check in is Saturday at 2 PM. Checkout is Saturday by 10 AM.

You can rent August 17th thru Sept 14th or longer at a special rate. The fall and winter are wide open at this point. We had been using the August weeks for family and friends.

No single day rentals. Sorry.
