There's a reason they keep deleting this post - they don't want you to know this information and what a scam they're running trying to obtain your personal information for their monetary uses. It won't matter how often they delete it, we'll keep posting until they move on to their next victims. Craigslist says your posting will stay up for 45 days before it falls off their system, sooooo someone doesn't want the public to know about what a scam like 'nextdoor' is being spread around. P.S. If you're not flagging it, leave it up.
People, don't fall for the bullshit scam known as 'nextdoor'. They are nothing more than marketing scam artists!
Go to their website and read to the bottom of the page - they are based in CA, and offering job openings for marketing specialists.
All the information gathered about you, by them, under the guise of being 'neighborhood organizers' (who the fuck appointed any of them neighborhood organizers - under who's authority?) is collected by them and sold to other firms' mailing lists.
Under WHO'S authority to do they 'appoint themselves' as so-called 'community organizers'?? That's like you or I proclaiming that the corner of College Ave. and Richmond St. is now 'OUR' territory, and (under the guise of organizing community events) gather your personal information through nefarious (although, seemingly innocent) 'events'. Ask yourself, if approached by one of these clowns, 'WHO AUTHORIZES THIS CA BUSINESS TO GATHER MY PERSONAL DATA???'
Consider what you're being asked to disclose and for what reasons at their so-called gatherings; they are a nation-wide marketing firm - nothing more.
The next time one of them comes to your door, tell them to stuff it. As if we, as neighbors, couldn't organize anything we wanted to without help from an outside marketing firm.
You are only helping them rip you off, and they are counting on you to be stupid enough to fall for it!!!
