Works fine. However....
The brush roller design only has so many bristles on it.
So it relies more on suction power for vacuuming. It has plenty of that, but I'd say the lack of bristles on the brush roller makes it not particularly good for pet hair and similar. At least not on my rug.
Just wanted to point that out.

Or I can put a section of carpet in my garage to try it out on.
