This is an original, 19th-century primitive antique wooden spinning wheel. It is constructed in the traditional Saxony style, characterized by its horizontally slanted wooden bench (or table) layout and splayed legs.

The piece showcases beautiful turned wooden supports, rich wood-grain textures, and ornate traditional folk turnings.

Acquired at auction. Unable to provide much information about the wheel and its history. Very cool piece.
