This antique miniature salesman's sample travel trunk features grained, deep blue leather wrapped over a rigid frame reinforced with a central metal band. It includes corner brackets for impact protection, a distinctive central decorative brass flip-clasp lock, a lower buckle belt strap, and dual front rivets. Red checkered fabric lining inside the trunk.
A thick, layered leather top handle is attached via metal loops.
The handle and exterior are heavily worn, which confirm age and real use consistent with an antique item. One of the front corner brackets is missing.
