The Sawyer Cruiser is a very fast, efficient canoe great for flatwater camping and touring. It tracks great, glides incredibly, has great stability, and has comfortable tractor seats. The front seat is adjustable to allow for trimming. This canoe is highly regarded in the paddling community and is highly sought after. They are someone difficult to find.
This is constructed of what Sawyer called "Goldenglass", which is fiberglass with Kevlar strips woven into high-stress areas. This makes them lighter and stiffer than traditional all-fiberglass boats. According to the Sawyer catalog, it weighs 66 lbs.
This boat has some scratches, but overall is in good condition and has no patches.
Serial Number is SAW12372C292, which I believe means it was manufactured in 1992.
The previous owner put an ablative paint on the bow and stern to protect the gelcoat. This can be removed if desired.
