Note #1 – Features an authentic $2 bill from 1976, complete with an original stamp and postmark, both dated 1976, making the inaugural release of these bills. In 1975, the Secretary of the Treasury announced the revival of the $2 bill, timed for release on April 13, 1976, coinciding with Thomas Jefferson’s birthday.
Note #2 – Features a 1963 $2 Red seal dollar bill all featuring Thomas Jefferson. The biggest difference between red seal and green seal two dollar bills is that the red seal bills feature Monticello on the back of the bills. The biggest difference between 1963 two dollar bills is the position of the red seal. On the 1963 two dollar bills the red seal is on the right side of the bill.
Great addition for beginner collectors or for historical purposes.
