This vintage National Schools L.A., Calif., c. Model 447NS is an analog multimeter housed in a solid wooden case. It features dedicated banana-style input jacks across the panel instead of a single rotary selector switch for all ranges.
Selects the mode of measurement—ACV (AC Voltage), DCV (DC Voltage), MA (Milliamperes), or RX1/RX100/1MA (Resistance ranges and low-current testing).
Zero Adjust Dial to calibrate the needle to exactly "0" on the Ohm scale before measuring resistance. You must short the test leads together while adjusting this knob.
