27 Years ago, I purchased this meticulously maintained, original numbers matching, red Corvette convertible, with the rare hard to find LT-1 engine and the last year of having both front and rear chrome bumpers.

This Corvette is one of only 405, 1972 Corvette convertibles produced with the rare LT-1 engine. 80K original miles.

The original matching numbers for the engine, transmission, exterior and interior colors, are as follows:

Engine: CKY suffix pad, 350 ci, 255 net horsepower (330 gross hp). Original solid lifter high performance with correct Holley 780 cfm carburetor and aluminum high rise intake manifold.

Transmission: Muncie M21 close ratio 4-speed manual.

Color: Exterior is 973 original Mille Miglia Red and Interior: Code 407 Red

Awards: Gold Certification from Classic Chevy International, Blue Ribbon Concours of Iola WI & numerous trophies.
