Hi there! I’m looking for a reliable, organized, and kind person in Appleton to help my parents with some logistical and life-admin tasks over the next month.
They are a retired Lawrence University professor and an artist who have lived in Appleton for 15+ years. They’re in the process of downsizing and planning an extended stay with me in California, and we’re hoping to find someone who can help make this transition smooth and low-stress.
Responsibilities may include:
- Coordinating communication with someone to check on the house and care for their cat
- Helping arrange travel to and from California
- Light house organizing and prep before being away
- Technology support (devices, email, travel logistics, etc.)
- Occasional additional tasks as needs arise
Ideal candidate:
- Student, recent graduate, or anyone with strong organizational/logistical skills
- Patient, kind, and comfortable working with older adults
- Clear communicator and dependable
Local to Appleton
Compensation:
$30+/hour, depending on experience
approx 5 hours/week
