Each phone takes 2 typical AAA rechargeable batteries, not some weird kind.
The batteries are fine as of this writing. I'll check them again the day of selling it to make sure they charge but of course won't know how many days they last because there won't be time.
Works well. Use it for a week, if you don't like it bring it back.
