Poe is a sweet little guy about a year old. He is an avid "runner" and loves spending his time running marathons on his wheel. He's a good little treat eater, and loves him some wax worms and little meal worms. As much as I'd love to keep this little foster, that's all part of fostering - loving them and getting them ready for their forever homes. He is on a special high protein diet and will need to stay on that as they have high metabolisms and need a proper diet to follow. He's not the biggest fan of getting his nails clipped but with some patience it gets done :) He comes with a large cage, any and all accessories he has acquired while with is, bin of food, etc. I will NOT just rehome him to anyone. If you have not done thorough research prior to reaching out, you will immediately be denied. And just because you took care of a friend's or second cousins hedgehog in the past, does not mean you are ready or equipped for one. I have no problem sharing knowledge but I'd like to know you have done some and put some thought into it before reaching out. These are live animals, not temporary toys and I want what's best for him. If noise at night will bother you...then he's not for you. If you don't want to spot clean the cage daily and give occasional foot baths (if you know, you know), then he's not for you. If you just want him because he's cool, then he's not for you. Hedgehogs are not for everyone and that's ok. I also don't recommend them for small children as they don't know how to properly handle them.
