This is a box of sorts with steel frame and expanded metal bottom and side's About 44" long 25"front to back and 24th" top to bottom. has decent heavy tarp like material covering with Velcro and weatherproof. Its made to go into a receiver hitch and came off of a class C motorhome. I would think it would keep stuff fairly secure. I guess you could use it on a utv if you needed for a excursion or on the back of a camper or a job box.
